What You Can Expect:

* Available Schedules:
* Part time: 
* week one: 3 10 hour shifts, weekdays
* week two: 2 10 hour shifts, weekdays 

* No on call required! 
* Body intervention to include general, drains, ports, and many more with more advanced procedures to include embolization, radiation treatment delivery and emergent neuro services to include stroke intervention. 
* Phillips equipment (3, one biplane).
* Meridian Imaging prides themselves on their unique, collaborative relationship between providers and technologists, a high culture of safety in alignment with system goal, and cross-campus collaboration and standardization. 
* Busiest Emergency Department in the state of Idaho with focus on new trauma expansion. 

Minimum Qualifications for this Role:

* Education: Associate degree or experience in lieu of degree
* Licenses/Certifications: 
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography certification (ARRT_R)
* Cardio Vascular (ARRT_CV) registration or Vascular Intervention (ARRT_VI) registration.

Responsibilities:

* Collect key information from the patient, family, provider, and nurses that are specific to the exam being performed in order to assist the provider in the proper diagnosis.
* Educate patient, family or provider as to the extent and detail of each procedure, including informed consent as well as pre-and post-procedure instructions.
* Ensure the proper exam is being administered to the patient. Consult ordering provider as needed.
* Assist provider during therapeutic and invasive procedures.
* Perform aseptic techniques per guidelines.
* Maintain proper inventory levels of all supplies and ensure accuracy of patient charges as required.
* Perform daily equipment inspections/calibrations. Participate in call rotation as needed.
* Performs the most advanced tasks with little to no supervision.
* Practice guidelines specific to ALARA policy (As Low As Reasonably Achievable).
* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
* Prior Rad Tech/X-Ray experience
