Overview:
As our Hyperbaric Wound Nurse at CHI St Vincent, you'll help treat patients with chronic and non-healing wounds using hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT).
In accordance with our mission and core values, the registered nurse will perform care requiring specialized
knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills based on the application of the nursing process. The RN uses
assessment skills to ensure multidisciplinary patient care and teamwork to meet established practice guidelines,
unit specific policies, and regulatory standards.
CHI St Vincent Hot Springs is a 280 bed faith-based, non-profit, Magnet Accredited facility providing quality health care to patients and communities from all over the State of Arkansas. As the only level II trauma center in the southwest part of the state, CHI St Vincent Hot Springs is the regional referral center for cardiology, trauma, neuro, ortho, oncology and critical care/pulmonary. Responsibilities:
* Perform complete patient assessment.
* Maintain a plan of care.
* Maintain patient treatments.
* Ensures effective and wise use of resources, monitoring for cost containment.
* Facilitates appropriate length of hospital stay.
Qualifications:
* Unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the State of Arkansas
* 1 year of experience is required for PRN
* Previous oncology/chemo experience is required
* BLS through the American Heart Association is required
