Qualifications:

* Education: High School or GED required. Vocational / Technical LPN or EMT/Paramedic preferred.
* Experience: 2 years In the medical field required.
* Licensure/Certification: Licensed Practical nurse or EMT/Paramedic preferred. Refer to Life Support Policy NH-HR-3096 required.  
* Additional Skills/Requirements (required): 
* Successful completion of a NBDHMT/UHMS approved hyperbaric medicine introductory course.
* Must obtain certificate of competency in transcutaneous oximetry monitoring.
* Upon eligibility, must obtain certification for Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) and maintain certification.
* Must complete an 8 hour wound care course and a preceptorship with a certified wound care nurse.
* Must have patient care experience.

* Additional Skills/Requirements (preferred): Emergency medicine and/or hyperbaric diving experience.
