				Overview:

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Professional Engineer possessing a comprehensive understanding of Civil Engineering as it pertains to Hydrology & Hydraulics analysis and design. Familiar with principles and industry standards. Provides direction and supervision to less experienced staff and manages their daily responsibilities to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare Hydrologic & Hydraulic calculations, exhibits, and reports for civil infrastructure improvements for public and private projects.
* Data collection and analysis, computer modeling, and design of complex detention/retention systems meeting applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
* Familiar with Georgia's 3-phase erosion control process.
* Evaluate and eliminate or mitigate detrimental impact of proposed design upstream and downstream of proposed projects Prepare plans, calculations, and checklists for NPDES permit approval and compliance.
* Prepare CLOMR/LOMR applications through local municipalities and FEMA
* Provide project information to interested contractors, developers, and other interested parties.
* Monitor construction progress of projects and inspect to confirm compliance with specifications and standards.
* Monitor project costs and changes against budget.
* Monitor, specify, review and analyze engineering plans, specifications and reports.
* Review construction and design industry standards.
* Function as point of contact for consultants, contractors, professional and trade organizations, and other government agencies.
* Monitor agency permit review progress and respond to agency comments.
* Lead, organize and review the work of subordinate employees.
* Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D stormwater management software.
* Proficiency in HEC-RAS & HEC-HMS, SWMM, is preferred but not required.
* 2-dimensional Hydraulic experience a plus.
* Proficiency in Autodesk Infraworks required.
* Proficiency in ArcGIS required.
* Minimum 3-7 Years of previous civil engineering experience is preferred.
* Experience in Civil3D preferred.
* PE license preferred.
* GSWCC Level II Certified Design Professional or ability to obtain within six months.
* Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
