Responsibilities:

We're looking for an early HR professional who is service-minded, organized, and enjoys keeping HR operations running smoothly across two locations: NASA Stennis Space Center in Mississippi and NASA Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans, Louisiana.

This is a hands-on role focused on onboarding, employee support, personnel transactions, records management, orientation, reporting, and day-to-day HR coordination. It's a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their HR career while gaining broad, hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this role is $55,000 - $60,000 based on experience.

Qualifications:

Essential Job Duties:

* Process personnel transactions accurately and timely.
* Manage onboarding activities, including new hire paperwork and E-Verify.
* Facilitate New Hire Orientation.
* Maintain employee files, records, and data accuracy.
* Support benefits administration and respond to routine employee questions.
* Provide guidance on basic HR policies, procedures, leave administration, and workplace practices.
* Support recruiting activities, including job postings, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
* Prepare HR reports, presentations, and employee communications as needed.
* Partner with employees and managers to support day-to-day HR operations across both locations.
* Travel between locations as needed.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
