Omni Barton Creek is hiring a Human Resources Generalist to provide clerical and administrative support in the Human Resources Department with associate engagement, recruitment, training, compliance and onboarding process that align with Omni standards.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the tracking, onboarding, and processing of new hires into the UltiPro HRIS
* Professionally and warmly interact with all guests to the Human Resources Office
* Provide administrative support to HR Director and HR leadership
* Assist in the recruitment process in collaboration with corporate team, HR team and hiring managers
* Maintain and conducts audit of associate trackers and logs, i.e. New Hire Tracker, Promotion/Transfer Logs
* Ensure proper backgrounds and pre-employment processes are followed
* Ensure all New Associate Files have all appropriate paperwork, signed acknowledgments, applicable licenses/certificates
* Maintain department logs, binders, and employee files
* Enter and maintain all associate data into UltiPro (HRIS)
* Maintain orderliness of office supplies and equipment and places requisitions through Birchstreet Inventory Procurement
* Participates in planning and execution of associate events planned by the Human Resources Department
* Champions Omni culture on property, and enthusiastically promotes opportunities within the hotel and company
* Facilitate a culture of praise and recognition by assisting with the implementation of various employee recognition programs
* Participate in the Hotel Orientation Program
* Complete other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
* Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to coach, counsel, advise, mentor, and motivate associates and managers at all levels
* Must be flexible with schedule to include some weekends
* Must be proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
* High Volume Hotel Operations Experience Preferred
* 1-year Human Resources Experience Preferred
* Fluency in Spanish required
Physical Requirements:
* The ability to sit and utilize telephone/computer for an extended period.
Working Environment:
* Office environment with frequent travel around property.

* Microsoft Office, UltiPro (HRIS), iCIMS ATS, Birchstreet, Sertify, HireRight, Equifax, Kronos, Adobe Learning Manager
