				Overview:

The HR Generalist will support the organization by managing various human resources functions, including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with labor laws. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. In Human Resources, maintaining the privacy of sensitive employee information and handling it with discretion is essential.

Responsibilities:

* Recruitment and Onboarding
* Coordinate and conduct recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selection
* Facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding programs.

* Employee Relations
* Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
* Address and resolve employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner.
* Promote a positive work environment and culture.

* Performance Management
* Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems.
* Support managers in conducting performance appraisals and providing feedback.

* Training and Development
* Identify training needs and coordinate training programs.
* Support career development initiatives and succession planning.

* Compliance and Record Keeping
* Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.

* HR Projects and Initiatives
* Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve processes and employee engagement.
* Collaborate with other departments to support organizational goals.

* Benefit Administration

* Address employee inquiries about benefits, eligibility, and coverage details.

* May help organize and manage the annual open enrollment process, including distributing materials, assisting employees with elections, and leading open enrollment meetings.

* May conduct benefit orientation sessions for new hires, explaining available benefits, and assisting with enrollment process.

* Leave of Absence Management

* Inform employees about leave policies, eligibility, and processes.

* May process leave requests based on company policies and relevant laws.

* Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and maintained, including medical certifications and return to work forms.

* Coordinate with managers and departments to manage staffing needs during employee absences.

* Ensure all compliance with federal and state regulations, such as Family and Medical Leave (FMLA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

* Facilitate the return to work process, including coordinating any necessary accommodations.

Qualifications:

* Must have experience working with Applicant Tracking and HRIS systems
* Communication - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with coworkers, along with internal and external customers and key stakeholders

* Teamwork - Ability to work well in a team environment, fostering collaboration and cooperation

* Empathy - Ability to understand and relate to employees' concerns and needs, fostering a supportive workplace
