Responsibilities:
The Human Resources Coordinator performs a wide range of administrative duties and provides administrative support to the Corporate HR Team ensure the Human Resources department functions properly.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience.
* Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience.
* Bilingual
* College course work in related field helpful
* Familiarity with and knowledge of basic Human Resources.
* Proficient with Windows operating systems (Word Excel and Power point etc.
* Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
* Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
* Must routinely meet deadlines.
* Must be able to multi task.
* Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating preventing identifying and solving problems as necessary.
* Must have the ability to assimilate complex information data etc. from disparate sources and consider adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need.
* Must be effective at listening to understanding clarifying and resolving the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests.
* Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Approach all encounters with guests and associates in an attentive friendly courteous and service oriented manner.
* Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
* Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which include compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality dress code.
* Comply with and ensure adherence to Aimbridge Hospitality's standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations.
* Associates must at all times be attentive friendly helpful and courteous to all guests managers and fellow associates.
* Prepare Personal Action Form to ensure all Corporate Hires and Terminations are handled by Data Entry team in a timely manner to include: Coordination of paperwork coordinate with Talent Team and Hiring Manager to ensure system access is set up in a timely manner
* Coordination of corporate new hire onboarding (badge completion of I9 initial meet and greet)
* Communicate with IT to ensure all access are cutoff upon an associate's termination coordinate exit communication and schedule exit interview
* Coordination of Corporate New Hire Orientation
* Assist with preparation of documents for new acquisitions in accordance with established system to include: ordering and shipping paperwork preparing files and labels entering Associates in to I9 Form preparation of Offer Letters as needed shipping completed files to newly acquired hotels.
* Assist in ensuring all closings are handled according to established system to include follow up on HR documents post-closing (ensure HR related documents have arrived for proper storage organization and control of Iron Mountain storage records).
* Establish tracking of all closed properties â " keep an ongoing spreadsheet and update.
* Organize and maintain HR storage room (purge files ensure boxes are sent to storage in a timely manner)
* Create and maintain active and terminated associate files (Weekly filing conduct audits to ensure files meet SOC1 compliance documents)
* Responsible for managing Corporate Associate Referral Program
* Responsible for the creation and distribution of Corporate Communication/Emails to include New Hires and Promotions
* The HR Coordinator is responsible to assist the VP of HR and CHRD with the coordination of Corporate Social events to include: Associate of the Month Anniversaries Quarterly Breakfast Annual party Summer outing etc.
* The HR Coordinator will seek support from members of the company established associate committee (CARE) (Maintains HR calendar of events).
* Assist the VP and Director of HR with administrative duties as necessary.
* Prescreen incoming calls and forward to appropriate Manager answer HR questions as necessary
* Perform other duties as requested by management.
* Complete special projects as required.
