Job Summary:
Be the guardian of cleanliness: keep our lobbies, hallways, and public areas sparkling. Tackle night cleaning projects and deliver guest requests with a smile. Take pride in doing things right, even when no one is watching. Be reliable, friendly, and not afraid of physical work.
The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: May through September 2026 (exact dates vary by location)
Pay: $16.05/hr + tips
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours - 2pm - 11pm, 5 days per week (may include weekends and holidays)

Responsibilities:
* Clean and maintain public areas: lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and meeting spaces.
* Empty trash, vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and mop floors.
* Be a behind-the-scenes hero who keeps our hotel fresh, clean, and guest-ready!
* Assist the morning housekeeping team with getting departure room clean and guest ready.
* Support the front desk with late-night guest needs.
* Tackle guest room trash and recycling like a champ and keep stockrooms organized like a professional orchestrator.
* Deliver linens, towels, and supplies to housekeeping and guest rooms like a laundry ninja.
* Make sure guest rooms, public areas, and the hotel premises are clean, sparkling, and inviting.
* Respond quickly to guest requests with a smile - and maybe a few extra towels.
* Report maintenance issues and anything out of the ordinary - you've got a keen eye.
* Properly stock linen closets and housekeeping carts with clean sheets, towels, and guest amenities. Channel your inner Tetris master.
* Take accurate inventory of linen, terry, and amenities in housekeeping closets.
* Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping vacuums, closets, storage rooms, and other equipment.
* Perform deep-cleaning tasks and special cleaning projects as assigned by management.
* Help set up events or move furniture when needed.
* Make sure Personal Protective Equipment is always followed.
* Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures
* Other duties as assigned.
* Create, modify, or cancel hotel reservations.
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Great eye for details to ensure quality expectations and standards.
* Can work independently and responsibly.
* Can speak with others using clear and professional language.
* Ability to support housekeeping team to reach common goals.
* Have a positive attitude and a love for helping others.
* You're not afraid to hustle - fast-paced environments make you shine.
* Reliability and teamwork - we rise by lifting others (and by lifting laundry bins).
* Possess a valid U.S. Driver's License and comply with Xanterra Driver Safety Program and Policy.
Experience:
* Previous customer service or hospitality experience is a big plus but not required.
Physical Requirements include:
* Ability to lift, push, and carry items (up to 50 pounds as needed throughout the day - gym membership not required)
* May need to haul items up and downstairs. Constant lifting and carrying supplies and linens throughout the day.
* Previous hotel or cleaning experience is a plus but not required - we'll train you.
* Making beds, bending, kneeling, stretching, and reaching as needed for up to 8 hours per shift.
* Standing for long periods of time, frequent walking up and down stairs, as well as in outdoor areas sporadically throughout the day.
* Pushing a hotel cart or cabin cart up to 350 pounds as needed.
* Working safely with required chemicals.
