Job Summary:

Behind every perfectly made bed, sparkling bathroom, and fresh towel is a team of hardworking pros .led by YOU! We're looking for a Housekeeping Manager who leads by example, motivates with heart, and brings high standards (and great vibes) to the housekeeping department. You're part leader, part coach, part cleanliness connoisseur.

The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: late-April through September or October 2026 (exact dates vary by location)
Pay: Starting at $1,784.00 bi-weekly
Schedule: Typical schedule is 50-55 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities:

* Oversee Housekeeping department to ensure high productivity and quality control on daily basis in all guest rooms and public areas are met by Company's and National Park Services standards.
* Lead, train, and inspire the housekeeping team to keep our rooms and public spaces immaculate.
* Create schedules, assign tasks, and make sure every shift runs like a well-folded fitted sheet.
* Perform daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces - because "clean-ish" isn't in your vocabulary.
* Maintain inventory of supplies and linens - no one runs out of toilet paper on your watch.
* Work closely with front desk, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth, guest-focused operations.
* Monitor, coach and develop team members to grow in their skills and confidence by evaluating performance and counseling.
* Uphold safety and sanitation standards like a hospitality pro.
* Handle guest feedback and special requests with grace, empathy, and quick action.
* Determine specific work assignments for Room Attendants and other staff according to the staffing guides and occupancy levels. (Scheduling and daily list assignments).
* Keep labor budgets for housekeeping staff in line with the budget issued by the Lodging Department. Report the daily and weekly reports accurately.
* Make sure Personal Protective Equipment is always followed.
* Maintain housekeeping equipment and PARS.
* Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures.
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

* Must be organized and have an excellent eye for details to ensure quality expectations and standards. 
* Can speak with others using clear and professional language. 
* Strong leadership skills and a can-do attitude. Ability to lead and motivate the housekeeping team to reach common goals and deadlines while creating a positive, productive work environment. 
* Great communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. 
* Must be proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office. Tech-savvy enough to use scheduling, inventory, and property management systems.
* Available to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and occasional emergency situations.
* Possess a valid U.S. Driver's License and comply with Xanterra Driver Safety Program and Policy. 

Experience: 

* Previous experience in a housekeeping management role required. 

Physical Requirements include:

* Lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds as needed throughout the day. Constant lifting and carrying supplies and linens throughout the day. 
* Making beds, bending, kneeling, stretching, and reaching as needed for up to 8 hours per shift. 
* Standing for long periods of time, frequent walking up and down stairs, as well as in outdoor areas sporadically throughout the day. 
* Pushing a hotel cart or cabin cart up to 50-75 pounds as needed. 
* Working safely with required chemicals.
