The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: Starting in May and ending between mid-September and early October 2026 (exact dates vary by location)
Pay: $15.00/hr + tips
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities:
* Be a behind-the-scenes hero who keeps our hotel fresh, clean, and guest-ready!
* Strip guest linens and terry from departure rooms. Each house person is responsible for stripping at a minimum of 35 rooms before lunch break.
* Tackle trash and recycling like a champ and keep stockrooms organized like a professional orchestrator.
* Delivering linens, towels, and supplies to housekeeping and guest rooms like a laundry ninja.
* Make sure guest rooms, public areas, and the hotel premises are clean, sparkling, and inviting.
* Respond quickly to guest requests with a smile - and maybe a few extra towels.
* Report maintenance issues and anything out of the ordinary - you've got a keen eye.
* Properly stock linen closets and housekeeping carts with clean sheets, towels, and guest amenities.
* Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping vacuums, closets, storage rooms, and other equipment.
* Help set up events or move furniture when needed.
* Make sure Personal Protective Equipment is always followed.
* Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures
* Create, modify, or cancel hotel reservations.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Must be detail-oriented to ensure quality expectations and standards are met.
* Ability to do basic math.
* Must be able to work well with others and can speak with others using clear and professional language.
* Must have the ability to support housekeeping team to reach common goals.
* A positive attitude and a love for helping others.
* You're not afraid to hustle - fast-paced environments make you shine.
* Reliability and teamwork.
* Valid U.S. Driver License and clean driving record preferred.
Experience:
* Previous customer service, hospitality, or cleaning experience is a big plus but not required - we'll train you.
Physical Requirements include:
* Lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds as needed throughout the day. May need to haul items up and downstairs. Constant lifting and carrying supplies and linens throughout the day.
* Making beds, bending, kneeling, stretching, and reaching as needed for up to 8 hours per shift.
* Standing for long periods of time, frequent walking up and down stairs, as well as in outdoor areas sporadically throughout the day.
* Pushing a hotel cart or cabin cart up to 350 pounds as needed.
* Working safely with required chemicals.
