Overview: This position ensures that assigned public space and guest room floors are kept fully stocked and clean to provide support to Guest Room Attendants while maintaining Omni standards and exceeding our guest expectations. As well as assisting in delivering guest requests to their room. Omni Benefits Include * Free Downtown Parking in our Underground Garage * Associate Cafeteria with Daily Complementary Hot Meals * Medical, Dental, Vision, Employee Assistance Program, Telemedicine, and Short Term & Long Term Disability. * 401(K) Match, Pre-Tax Health Savings Account, and Flexible Spending Amount * Exclusive Omni Associate Travel Discounts on Hotel Rooms, Food & Beverage and more! * Unique Perks include Tuition Reimbursement, Adoption Services Aid, Pet Insurance, Legal Services, Paid Time Off and Friends & Family Discounts * Development Opportunities including Discounted E-Cornell Courses, Leadership Development Programs, Diversity & Inclusion Programs, Omni Support Center Internal Reward Program, and Work/Life Balance Responsibilities: * Retrieve soiled linen and garbage from Guest Rooms and Room Attendants carts and/or storage closets to laundry department to separate and garbage to the trash compactor outside. * Maintain hallways, reporting maintenance issues and special cleaning assignments (i.e. carpet cleaning, vacuuming, or repainting areas) * Deliver guest amenities or special requests to guest rooms at supervisors request (i.e. rollaway beds, baby cribs, refrigerators) * Complete daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly projects as assigned by Housekeeping Managers/Supervisors * Clean stairwells, elevators and hallways free from debris and room service trays * Maintain housekeeping supply storeroom by organizing new supplies upon delivery and restock of floors * Ensures that assigned linen room closets are stocked at par. * Empties GRAs linens as needed. * Empties GRAs garbage as needed. * Keeps corridors on guest room floors clean. * Moves furniture upon request. * Completes guest requests as needed. * Maintains cleanliness of guest elevator landings. * Assists laundry room attendants when needed. * Cleans service and guest elevator tracks. Qualifications: * Ability to work in a fast paced environment * Ability to communicate effectively with fellow associates and guests in person or via a cellular telephone/radio * Must be able to read and understand daily work assignments * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. * Must be able to push/pull up to 250 pounds frequently Omni Hotels & Resorts is an equal opportunity employer - vets/disability.
