Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities:
* Assists the Executive Environmental Housekeeping Manager with the supervision of the all Housekeeping and all EVS cast members
* Supervises the day-to-day cleaning
* Ensures that guest rooms are maintained and in proper repair
* Maintains adequate inventory of all supplies
* Monitors all housekeeping related contracts
* Monitors and maintains level of cleanliness in rooms, gaming and storage areas, rest rooms, and public areas
* Ensures all employees follow policies and procedures
* Expedites and oversees special requests from the Front Desk
* Motivates employees to provide superior customer service to our guests
* Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to departmental and company policies
* Ensures that linen and supplies are tracked and accounted for daily
* Prepares annual budget and operating forecasts; prepares regular and special reports; maintains necessary records and files
* Retains staff in line with departmental goals
* Counsels, guides and instructs employees in the proper performance of their duties; prepares and coordinates the periodic performance appraisals of assigned employees
* Responsible for providing exceptional ACES Customer Service to all guests
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university is preferred
* Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
* Ability to effectively present information and respond t questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
* Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
* Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
* Must demonstrate the ability to calmly handle stressful situations and be willing to work any day and any shift
* Must be able to perform the physical job duties of line employees in emergencies
* Must be able to work in areas containing second-hand smoke
* Must be able to operate equipment, including: vacuum cleaners, floor machines, carpet extractors, computer, copy machine, mop and broom
* Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals and be able to handle chemical fumes and airborne particles (on occasion)
* Must be well organized
* Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
