Responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned areas to efficiently and effectively maximize departmental resources.
* Uses appropriate chemicals and methods safely to preform assigned tasks.
* Responsible for daily duties of trash pick-up as assigned.
* Cleans assigned areas which include but are not limited to: Resident rooms/apartments, public areas, offices, treatment rooms, and corridors.
* Is trained and competent concerning contamination, infection control and universal precautions.
* Respects confidentiality of information and resident rights.
* Responsible for timely pick-up, completion and delivery of laundry to assigned areas, in a safe and sanitary manner.
* Maintains clothing and linen storage areas as well as linen inventory as assigned.
* Attends all mandatory and related in-services and staff meetings.
* Assists in setting-up and breaking-down meeting rooms.
* Maintains a professional manner when dealing with residents, families and other staff.
* Collaborates with other departments to ensure current and future resident needs are met.
* Performs job in safe manner, using proper body mechanics, follows facility procedure regarding injury on the job.
* Responsible for the proper care of all equipment, supplies and financial assets involved in the performance of the job.
Qualifications:
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
* High School diploma or GED preferred.
Physical Requirements - Minimum of 25 lbs. of force to initiate and/or maintain.
