Overview: The Housekeeper II - BHP Provides high levels of cleanliness, quality, and service to patients, families and customers. Schedule: (full time, non-exempt) 1st shift, 7:00am-3:30pm, rotating weekends and holidays Location: Behavioral Health Pavilion 444 Butterfly Gardens Drive Columbus, Ohio 43215 United States Responsibilities: * Performs routine cleaning and coordinates with management to address and resolve facility maintenance, service issues and other concerns. * Demonstrates knowledge of 10 Step Cleaning Process and appropriate chemical use to meet department standards. * Practices proper methods of Infection Control in conjunction with cleaning procedures. Demonstrates proper use and knowledge of PPE and door precautions. * Maintains closet, housekeeping cart and cleaning equipment in clean, orderly and good working condition. * Maintains department's standards of practice as evidenced by quality control inspections and customer feedback. Note: Regular, reliable, and consistent attendance is an essential job function. Employees are expected to perform work as scheduled. Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Education: * High School graduate or equivalent, required * Successful completion of TCI (Therapeutic Crisis Intervention) requirements during orientation process or within 30 days of hire. Must maintain throughout employment Experience: * Previous housekeeping experience, preferred Skills: * Demonstrate high degree of proficiency in the 10 Step Cleaning Process. * Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. * Demonstrates ability to prioritize and multi-task.
