Overview: Shift: Part-Time, 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm, for 80 hours per pay period. Holiday and weekend rotation Be the difference behind the scenes - become a Hospital Housekeeper! At UnityPoint Health - Finley Hospital, our Housekeepers in the Environmental Services (EVS) team are essential to patient care-you'll help protect patients, families, and staff by keeping our hospital spotless. Responsibilities: * Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, and hospital areas according to established protocols * Remove trash, linen, and biohazard waste safely and appropriately * Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and linens * Follow infection prevention and safety guidelines at all times * Respond promptly to cleaning requests to support patient care * Work collaboratively with nursing, EVS, and hospital staff Qualifications: Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: * Customer/patient focused * Interpersonal skills * Ability to read, speak and understand English * Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills * Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform functions of the position Ready to make a difference?
