St. Joseph Health Burleson Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital in Caldwell, Texas offering a Level IV Trauma Center, IP and OP services, therapy, emergency care, skilled nursing care, injury treatment and more. 

Our hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and certified as a Level III support stroke facility by the Texas Department of State Health Services.

Responsibilities:
As a House Supervisor, you will be a central orchestrator of care, empowering our frontline nursing teams to deliver exceptional patient experiences and drive operational excellence.

Every day, you will actively engage with patient care needs, guide and support your nursing team's growth, and champion departmental objectives. You'll fiercely advocate for your fellow nurses, fostering an environment where every individual reaches their full potential.

To thrive in this critical role, you will embody accountability and confident leadership. Your exceptional communication will shine in 1:1 interactions with physicians, consultants, and family advocates, as you skillfully navigate challenging conversations to ensure optimal performance and patient outcomes.

* Integrates nursing units into the organization's vision and mission.
* Provide leadership and direction during a given shift.
* Support the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Department(s) and assesses areas of personal and professional growth.
* Conducts all aspects of supervision in a firm, fair, and consistent manner.
* Makes frequent rounds to monitor and ensure delivery of safe and quality care in all nursing units.
* Demonstrates an ability to identify and resolve problems, uses initiative and good judgment to reach quality decisions.

Qualifications:
Required
* Associate Of Nursing 
* Registered Nurse: TX, upon hire 
* Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days 
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 - months
