Responsibilities:
Implements and coordinates patient care and support services throughout the organization, resource for transfer center in coordinating admissions/transfers and transfers to/from other facilities.
Responsible for assigning or assisting nursing management in scheduling. Has no formal lines of authority over other departments but supervises all nursing and clerical staff on each shift and may
be called upon to perform supervisory tasks for other departments when they are closed. Supervises,onboards, and schedules patient companions. Maintains open communication with team members to
improve performance and inform the Director of Nursing of any serious and unusual situations.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience Education:
Associates Degree, Nursing
1 year acute care nursing experience
Required Licensure and Certifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Texas
BLS (American Heart Association)
ACLS within 6 months
