As a Room Inspector, you will,
Pay: $18.00 per hour | Shift: 11:00-7:00pm
* Ensuring maximum efficiency in performance of Room Attendants to acquire and maintain immaculate accommodations.
* Assigning guest rooms to be cleaned.
* Inspecting all vacant rooms for efficient top conditions and meeting Housekeeping specifications.
* Supervising all Room Attendants to assure protection of all hotel property from possible damage.
* Reporting all maintenance problems to assure protection of all hotel property from possible damage.
* Checking Room Attendants' appearance, carts, equipment, and cleaning supplies.
* Ensuring store rooms are properly stocked with linens and supplies.
* Ensuring that employees maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude at all times.
* Ensuring Room Attendants' work meets the requirements of hospitality operations.
* Ensuring all departmental and property policies, procedures, and performance standards are maintained.
* Responsible for training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
* Responsible for providing exceptional Red Carpet Customer Service to all guests.
Qualifications:
* Must be at least 18 years old.
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Housekeeping experience preferred.
* Knowledge of hotel property management system preferred.
* Must perform duties with a sense of urgency.
* Knowledge of all safety and health standards set by OSHA and local Health Department.
* Knowledge of hotel management system to inquire about and update room status preferred.
* Knowledge of all facilities.
* Must be able to work as a team with other employees.
* Ability to tilt head back and look up.
* Ability to perform frequent, circular motions with hands and/or arms.
* Ability to handle exposure to moving mechanical parts and high, precarious places.
* Visual range must include near and far distances.
* Ability to maneuver in small, limited spaces.
* Ability to use ladders, as well as clean ground level areas.
* Ability to transport all supplies to and from work areas.
* Must be able to stoop, bend, push, pull, lift, and carry up to 25 pounds.
* Must be able to maneuver in hotel areas, walk up and down stairs, and reach above shoulder level.
* Must be able to work in areas containing second-hand smoke.
* Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals and be able to handle chemical fumes and airborne particles (on occasion).
* Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
