Responsibilities:

Must be able to work evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.
Summary
The Hotel Assistant Manager supports the overall operation of the hotel and assists the General Manager in ensuring exceptional guest service, operational efficiency, and financial performance. This role oversees daily front office operations, guest services, and select operational departments while maintaining brand standards and company policies.

* Assist in managing daily hotel operations including Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Guest Services

* Ensure exceptional guest service standards are maintained at all times

* Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally

* Monitor occupancy levels, room inventory, and rate strategies

* Support revenue management and cost-control initiatives

* Supervise, coach, and develop team members

* Assist with scheduling and payroll oversight

* Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety regulations, and company policies

* Conduct daily property walks to ensure cleanliness and operational readiness

* Support audit processes and financial reporting as needed

* Assist with hiring, training, and performance management

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred

* 2-4 years of hotel supervisory or management experience

* Strong knowledge of front office systems and property management software

* Excellent leadership and communication skills

* Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
