Overview: This position is for someone looking to become a team member at a world-renowned glass lighting manufacturing facility in Beacon NY. We are looking for an experienced glass blower looking to hone their glass working skills in a production setting. You should have at least 2 years of experience in a hot shop setting, a general knowledge of terms and glass blowing equipment. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, welcomes new ideas, can take directions from the team leader and who works well with others in a team environment. Compensation: $19-22 Part-Time Responsibilities: Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Gaffer assist for hand finished work * Bubble start for standard production (clear + color) * Gathering for hand-blown production * Upon request, willing and able to help troubleshoot on all issues of Hot Shop production Ability to overlay consistently * Participating in charge schedule * General hot shop cleaning * Some data entry required Qualifications: You should have at least 2 years of experience in a hot shop setting, a general knowledge of terms and glass blowing equipment. The perfect candidate is self-motivated, responsible, good with their hands and works well with others in a team environment and production structure.
