Overview:
To ensure all guests are greeted and seated in a friendly and courteous manner using appropriate procedures, in accordance with Omni Standards. To handle all payment transactions for all foods and/or beverages purchased in the hotel's restaurants.
Responsibilities:
* Answering phone correctly and politely
* Takes reservations as needed and enter into Open Table correctly according to training guidelines
* Greeting guests and seat guests
* Keep host stand clean and organized
* Control heavy volume at Restaurant entrance
* Knowledge of hotel property
* Inform the guest about daily features and menu items
* Knowledge of Bobs concept and menu
* Attend to and anticipate guest's needs
* Familiarization with menu and know how to properly take to go orders as needed
* Follow server rotation, seating and informing servers with chits correctly
* Inform manager of all potential issues or complaints immediately
* Provide nightly guest tracking to manager prior to leaving
* Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience as a bartender in a hotel, restaurant, or similar establishment preferred.
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with diverse clientele.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
* Stock the public lobby and restaurant coolers.
* Attention to detail and cleanliness.
* Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
