ENTER LINE OF BUSINESS is seeking a compassionate, grounded, and spiritually-sensitive Chaplain in City, Sate. Our Chaplains provide emotional and spiritual support to patients and families during end-of-life care. This role is an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, offering a nonjudgmental presence and care that honors the beliefs, values, and cultural backgrounds of those we serve. As a Chaplain You will:   

* Conduct and ensure timely spiritual assessments for patients and families 

* Participate in developing individualized care plans to address spiritual needs 

* Provides direct spiritual support to patients, families, and caregivers 

* Serves as a liaison to community chaplains and spiritual counselors 

* Maintains accurate documentation of spiritual services and communications 

* Attends interdisciplinary meetings and contributes to care planning 

* Offers education and spiritual care guidance to the care team 

* Recruits and supports community chaplains, spiritual counselors, and volunteers 

* Coordinates and leads memorial or funeral services as requested 

* Organizes periodic memorials for staff, volunteers, and community partners 

* Assists in supervising spiritual care volunteers

Qualifications:

* Graduate of an accredited theology or chaplaincy program (BD, MDiv or equivalent theological degree) 

* Experience working with death and dying, hospice experience preferred 

* Comfort in an interfaith setting 

* Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state or organization requirements and is in good working order  

* Ability to accept different lifestyles, cultures, beliefs and values 

* Knowledge of and commitment to hospice philosophy of care 

* Ability to work as member of interdisciplinary group 

* Ability to network with community clergy and congregations
