Overview: POSITION SUMMARY: The Home Care Aide is under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist and in accordance with a plan of treatment to provide personal care and emotional comfort to patients in a variety of settings. The Home Care aide travels to patient homes and provides in-home care to assigned patients daily. The care provided must be age appropriate and the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of the patients are to be met. Travel within geographic service area of agency; approximately 60-mile radius Qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School/GED Licenses/Certifications: CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant Other Licenses/Certifications: Valid Drivers License in current status BLS Certification from the American Heart Association Other skills/knowledge: Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
