Responsibilities: As a Histotechnician, you will prepare human tissue for microscopic investigation and analysis by pathologists, including sectioning, treatment, slide placement, drying, and staining. Daily, you will accurately perform accessioning and clerical functions, assist pathologists with tissue cutting and autopsies, and prepare slides with routine and special stains. You will maintain records, ensure proper chemical handling and tissue disposal, operate lab information systems securely, and deliver accurate, timely lab reports, plus other assigned duties. Success in this role requires meticulous attention to detail in tissue preparation, strong lab safety and compliance knowledge, LIS proficiency, and a commitment to high-quality diagnostic support. Qualifications: Required * HS/GED Diploma Preferred * Histology Experience
