Responsibilities: * Providing the nursing department with a variety of duties including but not limited to: compiling, transcribing, preparing, and maintaining records in the nursing department; time and attendance edit log management; charge entry, etc. * Providing information and communication services to visitors and staff. Assists nursing staff in maintaining efficient and effective operations on the unit. Including monitoring the unit department checklists for completion for the Emergency Department, Acute Care and Operating Room monitoring for outdates throughout the departments, customer service liaison and active participant in the care environment. * Providing urgent or emergent patient care interventions as needed on the patient care unit and monitoring the telemetry monitor during the shift. * Assists in registering patients during the evening hours, weekends, and holidays. Qualifications: * Cardiology/Telemetry training will be provided * CNA certification program * BLS- new hire grace period of 30 days * CNA certification * Two to three years of recent acute care work experience is strongly preferred
