Overview:
To service and maintain the cleanliness of all public areas including public and associate restrooms, lobbies, and executive offices in accordance with Omni Standards.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
* Clean and maintain cleanliness of locker-rooms to include but not limited to steam rooms, showers, saunas, toilets, lockers, sinks, floors, carpets, mirrors, and countertops.
* Clean and maintain fitness center and tennis pro shop to include but not limited to: exercise equipment, floors, mirrors, countertops, and pool deck area
* Cleaning all areas of facilities, keeping a tidy workspace, while engaging with guests and members.
* Maintaining a positive and effective operation and engaging with each member on a personal basis.
* Keep gym and storage room orderly and clean.
* Keep Supervisor appraised of re-ordering needs
* Clean Fitness machines as needed.
* Re-stock towels as needed.
* Maintain cleanliness of locker-rooms, fitness center, tennis pro-shop, and pool deck area.
* Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
* Daily use of time clock.
* Work with other front desk staff to maintain a working schedule.
* Work holidays and events and special programs as scheduled.
* Proper handling of keys with access to Health and Fitness Center and Tennis Pro Shop
* Ability to work early mornings and evenings.
Hotel Specific Functions:
* Maintain standards of guest services and consistent positive guest experience as documented by J.D. Power and AAA Ratings
* Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotels culture, rules, and regulations.
* Answer phones using the proper "Moments of Service" scenario.
* Provide guests with cheerful, personable, efficient service.
* Responsible for a clean and professional appearance of uniforms
* Fully understand and implement "Moments of Service" and "Power of Engagement."
* Interact with every guest using Omni Standards
* Knowledgeable about all hotel amenities and property specifics
* Actively participate in the assurance of the safety of all guests
* Treat everyone, supervisors, staff and guests with courtesy and respect always
Qualifications:
* Tools and Equipment:
* First aid equipment. Fitness equipment, Pool filters and chemicals, pool lifts, and basic tools, janitorial equipment, and cleaning equipment.
Required Skills:
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Must be able to move up to 50 pounds.
* Must be able to see, hear and communicate.
* Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and walk long distances.
* Enthusiastic, willing to learn, outgoing, friendly & professional.
* First Aid/CPR/AED certified.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience or interest in fitness and/or retail clothing sales.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to work in high traffic areas and give service to several customers at one time.
* Able to multitask under high business levels.
