Responsibilities: What You'll Be Doing * Operate various makes and models of haul trucks, transporting raw material from the mine for processing (CAT/Komatsu) * Ensure compliance to all company, client and legislated safety policies, operating standards and procedures * Using adequate and suitable safety equipment, including PPE * Reviewing safe work plans/hazard assessment with prior to job commencement * Complete walk-arounds, safety checks and field level risk assessments and ensure the heavy equipment is running properly * Report any necessary repairs to the maintenance team or supervisors * Report all incidents, damage and near misses immediately Qualifications: What Makes You the ONE * Minimum of one year experience in a mining atmosphere and running a rigid frame truck (793 and 830/930 experience is an asset) * High School Diploma or General Education Diploma is considered an asset * Valid Class 5 Driver's License * Strong communication skills * Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
