Overview: Our Facilities team oversees the offices we call home. We ensure our teams can connect, collaborate and innovate in a space built to support success. From securing our campuses to making sure our events go off without a hitch, Facilities is the human face of our company's well-oiled onsite operation. Responsibilities: Dish is looking for a HVAC/R Technician for its Cheyenne, WY uplink facility to be responsible for repairing, installing, replacing, and testing HVAC/R, control circuits, equipment, appliances and repair of environmental control systems. Will have an in-depth knowledge of Heating and Air Conditioning systems Including chillers, cooling towers, Computer Room Air Conditioner Units (DX and Chilled water) RTU's, (DX and chilled water) and Air Handling Units. Key Responsibilities: * Assist workers engaged in installation, repair, and service of environmental control systems * Have experience working around large chillers * Fabricate, assemble, and install duct-work and chassis parts * Cut, bend, fit, thread and join piping and tubing * Install air and water filters. Adjusts controls as necessary * Connect, adjust, and troubleshoot temperature controls systems * Lubricate fans, motors, and control units; must be able to follow blueprints or engineering specifications * Perform general facilities maintenance tasks including snow removal Qualifications: Education and Experience: * High school diploma or general education degree (GED) * 4 or more years of experience at the HVAC or HVAC/R level operating within a commercial/industrial environment * Posses a current EPA Certification Skills and Qualifications: * Be a self-starter, have the ability to plan work activities, determine materials and timeframe needed, identify safety hazards, and write a method of procedure * Experience working with and manipulating building automation systems * Ability to read blueprints, Interpret product specifications and drawings * Ability to climb and crawl into tight and difficult spaces and lift 50 lbs Visa sponsorship not available for this role
