Responsibilities include:
* Will maintain, repair, install & perform preventative maintenance on all HVAC equipment such as air handler units, make-up air units, VAV boxes, fan coil units, fans and any other HVAC related equipment.
* Will be troubleshooting motors and motor control circuits.
* Will maintain, repair, install and perform preventative maintenance on all refrigeration equipment such as walk-in coolers and freezers, ice machines and any other refrigeration related equipment.
* Will braze and solder copper pipe and fittings to make repairs to refrigeration lines.
* Will work with a building automation system specifically Metasys & Niagra.
* Inspects kitchen machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards and make any repairs or adjustments as needed.
* Design and implement plans for new installations.
* Coordinate and schedule outside contractors as needed.
* Adheres to departmental quality standards.
* Follows all safety rules.
* Adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures
* Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.
* Reviews assigned work orders and determines work priorities.
* Working as part of a team you must be willing and able to help out in other areas of the Facilities department when needed.
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Five (5) year of HVAC and refrigeration experience in hospitality or related field.
* Must be knowledgeable in the use of electrical test instruments such as a multi-meter.
* Must have an EPA Certification.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical trades
* Basic computer skills.
* Must have basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
* Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
* Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
* Highly organized and detail-oriented.
