Responsibilities:
The HVAC Tech is to perform HVAC repairs, and maintenance duties in support of the contract.
Qualifications:
Essential Duties:
* Maintain numerous mechanical, electrical and electronic components; including Heating and air conditioning systems, cooling only split systems, cooling only packaged systems, packaged and split heat pumps, chilled water systems, heating only systems; convection and radiant heaters; systems may be electric, gas and hydronic operated or a combination of thereof; ventilation and exhaust systems applicable to facility ventilation and industrial equipment ventilation; refrigeration equipment; direct digital control systems and temperature controls; economizers; includes all components for the listed equipment types as well as electrical, gas, and water supply.
* Diagnose and correct problems throughout the entire system by adjusting controls to recommended settings and testing the performance using necessary special tools and equipment.
* Service and operate all types of residential, commercial, and industrial air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, climate-controlled automation systems, energy management control systems and program control systems.
* Receives and evaluates work orders and requests, investigates request or problems and where appropriate, establishes priorities.
