Overview:
***This position is physically located in the Philippines in support of LOGCAP***
Under the direct Supervision of the HVAC-R Foreman the HVAC‑R Technician is responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. The role ensures systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Philippine standards and company procedures.
Responsibilities:

* Install, maintain, and repair HVAC‑R systems (split‑type, package, centralized, chillers, refrigeration containers)
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
* Diagnose, electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration faults
* Charge, recover, and handle refrigerants properly
* Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical drawings
* Complete maintenance reports and service documentation through the Work Order and Preventive Maintenance V2X process
* Follow safety, OSH, and environmental regulations
* Respond to emergency and on‑call service requirements
* KPI's / Performance Metrics:
* High client/stakeholder satisfaction score.
* Consistent and efficient communication within V2X organization internally, and with the client/stakeholders.
* Continuous improvement in the following:
* Employee morale and contentment
* Client satisfaction.
* Initiatives for improvements and cost savings for both the client/stakeholders and V2X.

Qualifications:
* Minimum Qualifications:
* High School/GED
* Vocational or technical course in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or related field
* TESDA National Certificate (NCII) RAC Servicing (DomRAC)
* Required to possess relevant HVAC or Refrigeration certification and possess experience with diverse HVAC & Refrigeration equipment and systems.
* Preferred but not Required: either one of BOSH, COSH, DOLE SO1, or SO2 qualifications
* Possess a valid PH Driver's License (Code B or B1)
* Must be Filipino Citizen
* Experience:
* Must possess appropriate knowledge and experience in Facilities Operation and Maintenance Management.
* A minimum of 2 to 3 years of practical experience in HVAC/REF Systems and Facilities, installation, operation, and maintenance, repair, troubleshooting whether locally or internationally.
* Required knowledge & experience in HVAC/REF systems.
* Having a strong background in HVAC/Refrigeration systems and the operation and maintenance of facilities, including various HVAC/Refrigeration equipment such as Packaged Air Conditioning Unit (PACU), Dehumidifiers, Refrigerated Cold Storage Containers, Ceiling Cassette Air Conditioning (CCAC), Floor Standing Air Conditioning units, Split Type Air conditioning unit, Fan Coil Units (FCU), Air Compressor, Air-conditioning compressors, Air Conditioning Condenser Fans/Blowers, Extract/Exhaust Fans systems & etc. & LOTO procedures, is considered a valuable advantage.
* Preferred experience in overseeing the HVAC/REF systems and facilities of a shipyard, drydock, or critical environment.
* Preferred experience in using Maximo, for the creation and tracking of service/work orders.
* Outstanding proficiency in both spoken and written English.
* Capability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions.

* Insulation Resistance Testing (IR), Power Analyzer Recording, Grounding Testing, Transformer, Turns Ratio Test (TTR), Winding Resistance Test (WRT), Hi-Potential (HIPOT) Test, Power Factor Test (PFT), Relays Pick Up Test, & Thermal Scanning Inspection/Testing.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize workload
* Ability to provide great customer service under stressful conditions
* Basic knowledge of Maximo and Microsoft Office 2013/2016 Suite
* Working Conditions:
* The worker is subject to extreme heat. Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity.
* The worker is subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level.
* The worker is subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
* Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to lift/push/pull 25 lbs.; Work will require walking up and down stairs, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting.
* Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
