Responsibilities:

* Performs maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.
* Installs new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines.
* Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
* Experience with property energy management and control systems.
* Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
* Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Can read and understand blue prints.
* A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
* Orders required materials to complete task given using company purchasing system.

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent. Vocational school degree or a minimum of two years of experience in the field.
* This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. - Must be eligible for licensing with the West Virginia Racing Commission. Must possess a valid driver's license for the state in which you reside.  In addition to the pre-employment background check, this position will be subject to periodic checks of your driving record in order to determine your continued suitability to drive company and/or patron vehicles.  Must be Universal CFC certified. 
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms.  The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell.  The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.  
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock.  The employee is occasionally exposed to humid conditions; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals. 
* The noise level in the environment is usually loud.
