Responsibilities:

As a Workday HRIS Systems Analyst, you will be critical in ensuring the stability, performance, and optimal configuration of our Workday HCM platform. You will provide advanced technical support, resolve complex system issues, and actively participate in system enhancements and maintenance to deliver a seamless user experience. This role reports directly to the Manager of HR Technology.

Key Responsibilities:

* Advanced Technical Support and Problem Resolution:
* Provide Level 2/3 technical support, resolving complex issues and system errors within Workday HCM (e.g., unexpected integration failures, configuration defects, or security matrix issues)
* Perform in-depth analysis and root cause identification for recurring problems, implementing lasting solutions to prevent future occurrences

* System Configuration and Maintenance:
* Manage and maintain core Workday configurations across various modules (e.g., HCM Core, Compensation, Absence, Benefits)
* Support the bi-annual Workday release cycle, including planning, testing new features, and deploying updates to ensure system stability and performance

* Documentation and Training:
* Develop and maintain technical documentation, process flows, and knowledge base articles for system configurations, integrations, and complex support solutions
* Provide guidance and technical knowledge transfer to Level 1 support staff and end-users on advanced system features

* Collaboration:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, IT Security, Finance) and external Workday consultants to translate business requirements into efficient technical configurations and solutions

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical support, configuration, or engineering role specifically with Workday HCM

Workday Skills and Expertise:

* Expertise in Workday Report Writer, calculated fields, and business process configuration
* Demonstrated experience in developing and troubleshooting Workday integrations using key tools like EIBs, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio.
* Deep functional and technical knowledge across multiple Workday modules (e.g., HCM Core, Benefits, Absence, Compensation, Talent)
* Experience with Workday security configuration and administration

General Skills:

* Strong analytical and advanced problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex technical issues simultaneously
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
* Proven ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team in a fast-paced, enterprise environment

Preferred (Nice-to-Have):

* Workday Pro certification in relevant areas (e.g., HCM, Integrations)
