Responsibilities:

At the heart of our people-first approach, the HR Operations and Leave of Absence Supervisor plays a vital role in shaping an exceptional employee experience by overseeing critical programs like FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation, and accommodations. Your impact in this role is far-reaching-ensuring not only legal compliance but also driving a culture of care, clarity, and support for our employees during the moments that matter most.

You will collaborate across departments, mentor a talented team, and streamline processes to ensure our HR operations run smoothly while providing employees the support they need to thrive at work. You will be a key leader in fostering a positive work environment, advocating for the well-being of every employee, and ensuring they feel valued throughout their entire journey with us.

What You'll Do:

* Champion Employee Well-Being: Lead the administration of leave programs (FMLA, ADA, Workers' Comp) with a focus on compassion and care, ensuring employees feel supported during critical life events.
* Collaborate & Ensure Compliance: Work cross-functionally to harmonize HR processes, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
* Lead with Heart: Manage, coach, and inspire a team of 8-9 Case Managers, empowering them to provide top-tier service to employees. Your leadership will directly impact employee satisfaction and team success.
* Prioritize Employee Moments That Matter: Ensure employee interactions around benefits, immigration, accommodations, and retirement plans are handled with care, empathy, and professionalism.
* Drive Excellence: Conduct one-on-one check-ins, monthly quality reviews, and performance evaluations to nurture growth and deliver excellence.
* Create a Culture of Continuous Improvement: Develop individualized growth plans and drive team innovation, always looking for ways to enhance the employee experience through process improvements and technology.
* Elevate the Employee Experience: Serve as a subject matter expert for Case Managers, guiding them through complex inquiries and cases to ensure employees feel heard, respected, and supported.
* Foster Seamless Communication: Organize team meetings to keep everyone aligned and up-to-date on business rules, while continuously refining and harmonizing HR processes.
* Innovate with Purpose: Use data, process mapping techniques, and personas to identify opportunities for efficiency and improve the HR journey for employees.

Qualifications:

What You Bring:

* A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
* At least 5 years of experience managing leave of absence and accommodation processes
* Previous experience leading and mentoring a team of 5-10 employees
* Expertise in navigating HR systems and processes in a fast-paced environment
* Exceptional facilitation, presentation, and communication skills
* A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with care
