Responsibilities:
The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator provides objective Employee Engagement Services for CHI Memorial. The HR Coordinator manages the following, including, but not limited to, the Employee Emergency Fund (EEF) Program, the Catherine Spalding Award Program, the Bonus Reward Program, the Dollywood Ticket Program, Employee Service Award Program, and local Employee Discount Programs. Additionally, this role chairs the Employee Engagement Committee, serves as back-up front desk coverage, and serves as the check-in point for New Employee Orientation (NEO) registration.
* Plans/Coordinates Employee Engagement activities including, but not limited to the following:
* Various Holiday activities
* Monthly Connections Website Updates/Contests
* MyVoice Survey (Apr./May)
* Hospital Week (May)
* Service Award Banquet (15 yrs + - Aug.)
* Service Award Recognition (5 & 10 yrs. - Sept.)
* Team Jerseys (Fall)
* Valentine Mailbox Competition (Feb.)
* Pumpkin Painting Contest or Fall Treat Delivery (Oct.)
* Christmas Gift Card Ordering and Distribution (Dec.)
* Doughnuts with Santa (December)
* Bread Delivery (Christmas Eve/Christmas Day)
* Other Employee Engagement activities as needed/requested
* Coordinates the Bonus Reward Program, which includes, but is not limited to the following:
* Maintaining supply of varying types of Bonus Rewards
* Tracking who receives Bonus Rewards for payroll so that taxes can be withheld
* Serves as the check-in point for New Employee Orientation (NEO), as well as ordering and readying all supplies for NEO.
* Assists with promoting and providing materials for Lend-A-Hand (New Connections) program for new hires.
* Uploads receipts for Employee Engagement expenses to a shared drive to be submitted through Concur.
* Codes HR Invoices in Concur.
* Manages the Employee Emergency Fund (EEF) Program and serves as the point of contact for employees requesting emergency financial assistance.
* Manages the Catherine Spalding Award.
* Chairs Employee Engagement Committee.
* Serves as front desk back-up as needed.
* Manages Dollywood ticket program for employees.
* Serves as a Wellness Champion.
* Helps coordinate Quarterly Employee Forums.
* Runs reports/analytics as needed.
* Other duties as assigned.
* Completes assigned projects in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, or Associates Degree with one year relevant experience, or High School Diploma/GED and three years relevant experience.
Proficient with Google suite, mail merge, strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrates exceptional customer service skills. Knowledge of terminology and competencies demonstrated in an HR environment.
