The Oasis operates the historic AAA Four Diamond Inn and Ranch, restaurants, gift shops, and the world's lowest elevation golf course. Job Summary:
The HR Administrator provides administrative, clerical, and data entry support to the Human Resources Department

The Details:
Position Type: Year Round

Start Dates: As soon as possible on next available check in date (approximately three weeks)

Pay: $19.75
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities:

* Communicate effectively with positive engagement of all Human Resources front desk walk-in traffic
* Perform at a highly organized level with efficient multi-tasking skills
* Perform a wide variety of administrative support tasks including answering phones and questions from callers, routing calls appropriately, typing memos and letters, distributing and picking up mail, ordering office supplies
* Enter and track internal and external information into HRIS Systems and various other databases.
* Maintain current and former employee's filing system, ensuring accurate and timely filing and confidentiality.
* Process new hire paperwork paying special attention to identification and government forms
* Assist new hires in finding employee housing, uniforms, laundry, and any other inquiries
* Assist international new hires with onboarding and general questions
* Assist with employee functions and activities as required
* Facilitate with weekly new hire check-in process and procedures
* Diligently partners to ensure appropriate information is provided
* Demonstrates strong discernment in maintaining confidential all human resources, employee relation occurrences
* Manages and maintains communications for Human Resources department computer drives

Qualifications:

* One year administrative/clerical experience, preferably in Human Resources
* Basic math aptitude
* Proficient with Microsoft Office, data entry and learning new systems
* High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

* Associate or Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field
* Bilingual (English and Spanish preferred)

Physical Requirements include:

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; walk; use hands to fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to extreme conditions which include extreme hot conditions in the Summer.
* Be able to see short and long distances during daytime and nighttime.
