Our team of surgical oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, oncology certified nurses, research staff, radiation therapists, dosimetrists, physicists, nurse navigators, social workers, psychologist, dietitians and research team members work together to incorporate the latest research and treatment options to create the best treatment plan for each patient. Our dynamic community program treats over 2,200 new patients each year. We are seeking a Gynecologic Surgical Oncologist to join our busy program. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and collaborative clinician who is focused on compassionate patient care and clinical excellence. Summary Provides gynecologic oncology surgical and medical care as needed. Maintains 24 hour a day responsibility/accountability. Responsibilities * Performs initial and follow-up health status evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. * Provides consultations in gynecologic oncology medicine. * Participates in Cancer Service Line Performance Improvement and Medical Staff committees. * Provides Emergency Room coverage as needed as gynecologic surgical oncologist * Provides for professional growth and development. * Assists in development of cost-effective medical practices. * Performs other functions as required.
