Overview:
Oversee and meticulously manage the end-to-end Group Reservations process within the hotel reservation center, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional service standards are maintained for all group bookings
Responsibilities:
* Accurately input all group reservations into the system within designated timeframes
* Maximize room revenue by adhering to established selling guidelines
* Maintain and update Group History Tracking forms for reference and reporting
* Set up group routing instructions to ensure proper billing and service delivery
* Review and manage rooming lists to eliminate duplicate entries
* Respond promptly and professionally to guest calls and inquiries
* Attend Pre-Convention Meetings as required to support group planning and execution
* Collaborate across all hotel departments to ensure smooth group operations
* Identify and communicate inventory issues to relevant teams in a timely manner
* Maintain strong knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and ongoing events
* Foster an efficient and professional work environment with open communication
* Audit all convention resumes thoroughly prior to each group's arrival
Qualifications:
* Provide prompt and courteous responses to client inquiries and requests
* Maintain proactive communication with internal team members to support seamless guest experiences
* Demonstrate initiative by identifying and addressing areas of need without direct supervision
Working Environment:
* Primarily desk-based role requiring extended periods of seated work
