Responsibilities: Ground Technician plays a key role in maintaining clean, attractive, and well-kept outdoor environments. This position is responsible for the care and upkeep of landscaped areas, performing a variety of tasks such as trimming and shaping shrubs, placing mulch, trimming trees, watering, mowing, digging or raking. Qualifications: Essential Duties & Job Functions: * Trim and shape shrubs, bushes, hedges and trees to maintain healthy growth and aesthetic appearance. * Plant, water and maintain annual flowers and seasonal color displays * Install, refresh and spread mulch in designated landscape beds * Repair, replace, and maintain landscape edging materials. * Operate lawn maintenance equipment including mowers, edgers, trimmers and blowers * Perform routine lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, weed eating, and debris removal * Identify and report landscape issues such as plant health concerns, irrigation problems, or safety hazards * Operate chainsaws for tree/limb removal, brush clearing, and storm cleanup, following best practice felling and bucking techniques * All other duties as assigned
