Groundskeeper - Community Hospital of San Bernardino
Community Hospital of San Bernardino is looking for a hardworking and dependable Groundskeeper to join our facilities team. In this vital role, you will help ensure that our hospital grounds are well-maintained, clean, and safe for patients, visitors, and staff. Working under the direction of the Lead Groundskeeper, you will perform a variety of landscape maintenance duties that enhance the healing environment of our campus.
This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in creating a welcoming landscape, and values teamwork.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Perform routine groundskeeping tasks such as mowing, trimming, raking, watering, planting, fertilizing, and sod installation
* Maintain sprinkler systems, adjust watering schedules, and support seasonal landscaping needs
* Monitor plant health and report or treat signs of pests or disease
* Operate and maintain hand and power tools, ensuring all equipment is clean, lubricated, and in safe working condition
* Follow all safety protocols and use protective gear, including safety glasses, masks, and ear protection as needed
* Support overall hospital mission by maintaining a safe, attractive, and functional outdoor environment

Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
