Overview:
The Golf Cart Attendant will be responsible for giving the highest level of guest service, while maintaining the golf car fleet, staging area, practice facility in an appealing manner.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Enthusiastic greeting of guests (by name if possible)
* Speak with guests in a friendly, warm manner making them feel welcome
* Display conduct in an appropriate manner at all times in accordance with the Omni Hotels
* Working knowledge of club operations
* Render professional advice, opinions, assistance, and services as required.
* Perform duties and meet requirements for tournaments, club rentals and services which the Head Golf Professional and Assistant Professionals deems necessary.
* Promote the interests of the resort in providing service to the guest.
* Provide a guest friendly environment
HOTEL SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
* Must be able to operate the hand-held radio communication device
* Must be able to effectively communicate with fellow staff members, valet and bell staff
* Must be knowledgeable in trail access locations, bike rentals and appropriate fishing locations
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
* Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager.
* Assist in other departments as needed
* Attend monthly departmental meetings
TOOLS/EQUIPMENT:
* Radio
ENVIRONMENT:
Outdoor atmosphere in multiple weather conditions.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Knowledge, Training, & Work Experience)
* Knowledge of the game of golf is preferred
* Excellent customer service skills
* Must be able to work weekends, holidays, mornings and evenings
