Practice Highlights: * Full-Scope general surgery practice * Dedicated physician, APC, and RN support in OR and clinic * First assist in OR Responsibilities: * Performs history and physical assessments. * Manage acute and chronic conditions * Order, conduct and interpret appropriate diagnostic x-ray and lab tests * Involved in teaching and counseling individuals, families and groups * Performs minor surgical procedures. * Work autonomously as well as collaborate with other health care providers as needed. * Performs health maintenance activities. * Assist in surgery * Serve as health care resources, interdisciplinary consultants and patient advocate * Administers preventative health care methods. * Periodic hospital rounding on inpatients. * Performs possible in-patient health care. * Performs other functions as required.
