Overview: * OSF Medical Group, part of OSF HealthCare, seeks a General Surgeon to join 3 Surgeons * New graduates or experienced physicians will be considered. All new graduates will have a physician mentor * Office is located OSF Galesburg Clinic and OSF Medical Group in Monmouth- aprox. 20 min from one another * As a Physician with the OSF Medical Group Surgery, you will enjoy a strong referral base from the OSF Medical Group Primary Care and Specialty Care physicians * Enjoy bread and butter surgery with the opportunity to also perform endoscopies * Opportunity to join a growing community hospitals including St. Mary Medical Center as the intermediate hub. * Ability to do all types of general surgery without competition from specialty surgeons. * Call 1:4 Qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Education: Doctorate Licenses/Certifications: Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state. * Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges. * Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal heath programs. * Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage. * Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
