Req #: 16234
Type: Regular

Avalara, Inc

				Overview:

Are you energized by the idea of running your own SaaS business line-without the red tape? Avalara is looking for a General Manager to lead one of its fastest-growing product lines: our 1099 compliance solution. This is a rare opportunity to operate as a mini-CEO within a scaled tech company, with full accountability for results and direct influence across product, sales, engineering, and marketing.

The 1099 business serves a niche but growing market-AP teams and accounting professionals navigating complex compliance workflows. As GM, you'll shape the strategy, define the roadmap, and lead execution to exceed growth targets. You'll balance strategic clarity with hands-on hustle, operating in a lean, cross-functional environment where speed, creativity, and influence matter more than hierarchy.

This is a visible leadership role reporting to the GM of Accelerator Businesses. The team is ready. The product is evolving. The opportunity is real. We're looking for a builder, an operator, and a business-minded leader ready to scale a product and create impact.
