Responsibilities:

3rd Shift:  10:30 pm - 6:30 am Sunday through Friday am 

Pay Rate: $24.70/hr

Pay Grade: HR006

Quantity: 1 opening

Now hiring at our manufacturing plant in Murrysville, PA for a General Assembler.  In this role you will be counted on for  assembly, testing, and packing of a various mix of component parts.  Adherence to safety, housekeeping and quality standards as they relate to the production and company's objective is required.  In addition, will be responsible for maintaining production goals through productivity targets and cost containment by eliminating waste.  

Responsibilities:

* Reading and interpreting drawings and engineering specifications.
* Assembly and testing of various component parts. This includes using sonic bonder, torque wrenches, power screw drivers and various hand tools.
* Assuring conformance to all procedures and requirements applicable to job function.
* Maintaining relevant paperwork.
* Visually inspecting and performing minor repairs and rework.
* Coordination of work/orders with Supply Chain Specialist, Supervisor and/or Group Leader.
* Packaging material for shipment.

*Note: This position performs the duties listed based on department schedule and workload. Amount of time spent on specific tasks may vary from day to day.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

Ability to:

*  read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures.
* understand standard units of measure, basic mathematical operations and measurement conversions.
* set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices and test equipment.
* perform standard software operations in Microsoft Suite, SAP, and other software as required.
* use gages, micrometers, calipers, and various hand tools.
* lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 pounds without assistance.
* effectively communicate with various levels within the organization including training of new associates and temporaries.
* work independently with minimal supervision
* prioritize and organize work.
* read and interpret documents such as engineering drawings and specifications, procedure manuals and inspection sampling tables.

Education and Experience Requirements:

* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Minimum of three months previous manufacturing or related experience
