The GFEBS Preventive Maintenance (PM) Coordinator Lead serves as the on-site lead for all maintenance scheduling, execution tracking, and reporting of Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE) in support of Base Operations Support (BOS) at Soto Cano Air Base. This position ensures full integration of GFEBS and Army Maintenance Application (ArMA) to support Army South and Joint Task Force missions.
The Lead is responsible for driving PMO compliance, asset readiness, and audit-ready accountability across all BOS functional areas including facilities, power generation, fleet/NTV, airfield systems, and critical infrastructure. This role directly supports mission readiness by ensuring all maintenance actions are properly planned, executed, documented, and reconciled in Army systems IAW AR 750-1, AR 420-1 and BOS PWS requirements.

Responsibilities:
Major Job Activities:
GFEBS / ArMA Maintenance Management (BOS Execution Focus)
* Serve as the site lead for GFEBS and ArMA maintenance execution across all BOS-supported assets.
* Ensure all Preventive Maintenance Orders (PMOs) and corrective maintenance (DMOs), Project Work Orders (PWOs) tasks are created, tracked, and closed in GFEBS.
* Ensure integration of ArMA workflows into GFEBS to ensure real-time alignment between maintenance execution and financial accountability.
* Experience with ArMA ticket lifecycle management, integration with DPW, and familiarity with ArMA dashboards and analytics
* Oversees Preventive Maintenance Plan & Job Plan development in GFEBs
* Support maintenance of:
* Facilities and infrastructure systems (HVAC, generators, water systems)
* Vehicle fleets (NTVs and support equipment)
* Airfield and life-support systems
* Ensure all maintenance actions meet PWS performance standards for readiness and response times.
Working Environment:
Scheduling & Work Control (High-Tempo BOS Environment)
* Develop and manage the site-wide maintenance schedule, aligning PMOs with mission operations, airfield tempo, facility usage and industry standard(s).
* Synchronize GFEBS scheduling with BOS work control, service order desks, and the Installation Master Schedule (IMS).
* Prioritize maintenance for mission-critical assets supporting JTF operations, aviation, and contingency response.
* Adjust PMO intervals using real-time data, asset condition trends, and operational demand to minimize downtime and mission disruption.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Education / Certifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Maintenance Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
* 5-10+ years of experience in Army BOS, LOGCAP, or contingency operations environments.
* CAC eligibility
* Ability to obtain NACI / Tier 1 background check
* Ability to obtain PM GFEBs training certifications
* DoD IT Level II or equivalent preferred
* IAT Level I (Security+ or equivalent) preferred
* Hands-on experience with:
* 5+ Years of experience with GFEBS Plant Maintenance Module (required)
* ArMA (preferred/desired)
* Strong knowledge of AR 750-1, AR 735‑5: Property Accountability, AR 420‑1: Facilities Engineering, DA PAM 420‑11: Facilities Engineering Maintenance Management and Army maintenance processes.
* Experience managing PMO programs in OCONUS or austere environments.
* Experience with MS Project, Primavera or other project scheduling tools
* Experience with data analysis: Excel, Power BI and/or other data analytics toolsets.
* Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (preferred)
* Ability to lead multi-national teams (LN/OCN/USN workforce).
Experience / Skills:
Asset Tracking & Property Accountability (GFEBS-Driven)
* Maintain 100% accountability of all GFE assets in GFEBS, ensuring accurate records for location, condition, and maintenance status.
* Coordinate with Supply Support Activity (SSA) and Property Book teams to validate asset transfers, issues, and turn-ins.
* Conduct and support:
* Cyclic inventories
* Joint inventories with Government representatives
* Reconciliation between GFEBS, ArMA, and physical assets
* Ensure full compliance with BOS PWS requirements for property accountability and asset visibility.
Reporting & Analytics (Mission-Driven Performance Metrics)
* Utilize GFEBS reporting modules and ArMA analytics to track:
* PMO completion and compliance rates
* Deferred maintenance backlog
* Equipment reliability and failure trends
* Provide routine and ad hoc reports to Government stakeholders supporting readiness reporting and decision-making.
* Identify and provide key performance indicators, trends impacting mission performance and recommend corrective actions.
* Drive performance improvements aligned with BOS metrics and Commander's operational priorities.
Process Improvement (Lean Six Sigma in BOS Operations)
* Lead continuous process improvement initiatives focused on maintenance efficiency and compliance.
* Apply Lean Six Sigma methods to:
* Reduce maintenance cycle times
* Eliminate redundant workflows
* Improve PMO scheduling and execution accuracy
* Implement automation and workflow improvements within ArMA and GFEBS to enhance responsiveness in a contingency environment.
Compliance & Audit Readiness (Army & LOGCAP Standards)
* Ensure all maintenance and asset management actions comply with:
* AR 750-1 (Army Maintenance Management)
* AR 420-1
* BOS PWS requirements
* DoD financial and property accountability regulations
* Maintain complete audit trails for all GFEBS transactions, including maintenance history and approvals.
* Prepare for and support Government inspections, audits, and command reviews.
* Ensure all records meet LOGCAP-level audit scrutiny and transparency standards.
Supervisory / Budget Responsibilities:
* Supervise and mentor GFEBS/ArMA coordinators, planners, and maintenance administrators (LN and USN workforce).
* Serve as the primary interface with the COR, DPW representatives, and maintenance leads across BOS functions.
* Coordinate daily with:
* Facilities Maintenance
* Fleet/Transportation
* Supply/SSA
* Airfield Operations
* Ensure cross-functional alignment between maintenance, supply, and operations teams to support 24/7 BOS mission requirements.
