Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Visitor Intake Desk in Bothell, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aero and defense location as a Front Desk Security Officer, where you will be the welcoming first point of contact for employees and visitors. You will help manage access control, check identification, issue and track badges, and document security-related activity using a computer and/or tablet. With a calm, service-focused presence, you will help support a professional environment through teamwork, integrity, and clear communication.

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a front desk location.
* Control access by verifying identification, issuing and collecting visitor badges, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
* Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, phones, and other front desk communications, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, documenting actions taken, and assisting with evacuation or shelter instructions when directed.
* Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, support administrative tasks such as key control and package receipt processes, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

* Customer Service Experience is preferred.
* Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
* Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
