Overview: To wash and clean all cookware (pots and pans) and china, glass, silver and all miscellaneous items from kitchen production areas and dining rooms in accordance with Omni standards. Responsibilities: * Cleans pots, pans, cookware utensils, china, glass, silverware, and any other miscellaneous items * Conduct a quarterly silver and china inventory * Keeps cookware washing area clean and neat * Stores cleaned items in the proper location * Keeps kitchen floor area clean and free of debris * Clean any heart of house areas as instructed * Completes other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Ability and willingness to stand for 8 hours at a time * Ability to clearly communicate * Ability and willingness to push pull or lift up to 50 lbs. * Ability and willingness to bend, stretch, and reach * Ability to work cohesively as part of a team * Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule which includes working on weekends and holidays * Previous experience in stewarding is strongly preferred * Food safety certification Omni Hotels & Resorts is an equal opportunity employer - vets/disability.
