The Foundry Technician will work within our highly skilled team, to melt and pour molds of various shapes, sizes, and alloys.

Job Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $18.00 - $35.00

Responsibilities:

* Close communication with all associated departments to ensure efficient production, flow through and project success
* Responsible for the operation of burnout oven to prepare lost-wax cores for casting
* Preparation of miscellaneous metals for casting (bronze, stainless, aluminum)
* Pouring metals into shell and sand molds
* Clean-out and maintenance of casting equipment
* Must possess the ability to multi-task, and track parts across numerous projects
* Open to training in other departments as needed to keep the work moving through the foundry 

Qualifications:

* Must possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in foundry work
* Ability to work with associated departments to troubleshoot casting issues and devise solutions 
* Familiarity with metallurgy and quality control of casting
* Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
* Excellent team player to be successful in this role
* Strong work ethic and focus on delivery is important
* An appreciation for the art world would serve you well in this position
* Degree in metallurgy is a big plus
